Job Posting: Service Technician (window cleaner)
Job Type: Full Time (MUST be available between the hours of 7am – 5pm)
AWC Tidewater is a fast-growing commercial and residential window cleaning company servicing the entire Tidewater/Hampton Roads metropolis, and we’re looking to add the right person to our team! There are scores of window cleaning companies in this town. What sets us apart is our attention to customer service and a desire to grow a profitable business that will benefit everyone associated with AWC Tidewater. You don’t have to love window cleaning to join our team, but you do need to be a person who thrives on bringing structure to your surroundings, enjoys building positive customer relationships, and genuinely wants to be a part of a team on which you are fostering a culture of honesty, fun, and respect. What you need to ask yourself:
-Am I no less than 110%, come-hell-or-high-water reliable?
-Do I enjoy the thought of a service provider job that calls me to hard work but rewards with margin to enjoy your hobbies and personal activities?
-Do I enjoy providing a quality service to people and businesses where the average customer is nothing but pleased with my work?
-Am I a person who is by nature communicative? Meaning, I enjoy leaving a good impression with customers? Do I possess good oral skills?
-Am I responsible enough to communicate with my employer/supervisor for good and bad situations both professionally and personally in a timely manner?
-Would I enjoy a job that requires me to be a bit of a self starter, on my own a lot and use a smartphone app to clock my time and work progress throughout the day?
What you’ll need to do to get the job:
-Pass a background check, including references to vouch for your ability to fill this position.

-Have a sit down interview and then an on the job training/evaluation before being offered a position.
What the job entails:
-Commercial window cleaning – regular route work. We provide mileage reimbursement.
-High-rise window cleaning. Thorough and safe training.
-Residential window cleaning.
Window cleaning is not rocket science:) We can and will provide training for you. We’re not looking for window cleaning experience nearly as much as we’re looking for someone who we can trust and who we would want come to work with. If you’re a genuinely positive person who values showing and earning respect, then you’re off to a great start.
What you’ll need to possess:
-Computer and printer.
-Smart phone.
-Nunchuck skills. (jk)
-Transportation and valid driver’s license.
